Founded in 1997, the DERB SOLTANE LES HÔPITAUX Medical Analysis Laboratory is a leading private healthcare facility in Casablanca, specializing in biological diagnostics. Located at 27 Rue Lahssen El Arjoune, in the Les Hôpitaux district, our laboratory provides patients, physicians, clinics, and hospitals with a wide range of reliable and rapid analytical services.
Directed by Dr. Touimi Benjelloun Mohammed, a medical biologist, the laboratory is committed to delivering results that meet the strictest quality standards. Our Expertise
Our genetics department performs specialized tests to identify hereditary or acquired abnormalities. Using advanced cytogenetic technologies such as constitutional karyotyping, onco-hematological karyotyping, and FISH, we help physicians establish accurate diagnoses, anticipate risks, and tailor treatments. This expertise makes our laboratory a leading provider of genetic testing in Casablanca for screening, management, and personalized follow-up.
Flow cytometry is an essential technique for establishing a differential diagnosis between acute leukemias, lymphomas, non-hematopoietic tumors, and reactive states. Immunophenotyping allows for the identification and determination of the maturation stage of the cell line involved in the leukemic process, while also providing prognostic information. It can also reveal aberrant immunophenotypes associated with leukemia in order to monitor disease progression during treatment and identify therapeutic targets for its eradication. Our laboratory is equipped with a state-of-the-art flow cytometer capable of immunophenotyping acute leukemias and acute leukemias of ambiguous lineage, B, T, and NK lymphoproliferative disorders, plasma cells, T, B, and NK lymphocyte subpopulations, and monocyte subpopulations. We also perform CD34+ hematopoietic stem cell enumeration, diagnose paroxysmal nocturnal hematuria, and detect and quantify minimal residual disease. Analysis can be performed on peripheral blood, bone marrow, ascitic fluid, cerebrospinal fluid, pleural fluid, lymph node biopsy cells in suspension, or cytologically aspirated cells, and we guarantee rapid, interpretable results that meet international standards.
Our molecular biology platform employs advanced detection techniques, essential for the rapid and accurate identification of infectious agents. Using PCR and highly sensitive diagnostic tools, we perform targeted analyses for COVID-19, tuberculosis, and numerous viruses and bacteria of clinical interest. This expertise enables reliable diagnosis from the earliest signs of infection, facilitating rapid and appropriate treatment. The laboratory has established itself as a leading provider of molecular testing in Casablanca, guaranteeing secure, rapid results that meet international standards.
